You’re Not Late in Transition

Road Between North Dakota and Wyoming

Long stretch of road.

No town yet.
No arrival sign.
Just miles.

In-between spaces mess with you.

They make you question timing.
Progress.
Whether you missed something.

You look around.
Everyone else seems further.
More established.
More certain.

And suddenly transition feels like failure.

But roads aren’t failures.
They’re movement.

They don’t look like much.
But they’re leading somewhere.

Identity works like that too.

It doesn’t pause when the scenery changes.
It doesn’t expire because you haven’t “arrived.”

If your belonging was already settled in Christ,
then your value doesn’t spike at milestones.

You’re not late.
You’re not behind.
You’re not forgotten.

You’re moving.

And movement doesn’t always look impressive.

It just looks like road.
